I spent the first year of "pool ownership" vacuuming and scrubbing by hand. I was constantly battling a dirty pool and small black algae spots. Two weeks ago I finally gave in after much research and procrastination and bought the MX8, partly because of the sale and rebate available at this time. My pool has never looked so great!! Really good product! Works great.
Our does a great job, gets all over the pool and picks up trash. I received the bonus trash catcher/compactor & it works pretty well. Only concern is it has been about 5 weeks & I have not received $125 rebate yet.
I like this little guy. I can run my variable speed pump at 1600 rpm and still keep him moving. My pool guy said yesterday the pool looks better than it has in years.
