I have been through a few in ground pool cleaners, this one is like a tank moving around my pool doing the job that the others didn't! Setting it was tricky at first, but once it get's going, it goes!
We have been using another brand of pool cleaner for 13 years now (the third cleaner just died). The Manager at Leslie's spoke highly of the Zodiac MX8E and with a rebate and leaf catcher free gift....I said oh well.. I'll try it. WOW! Why didn't I buy this years ago??? Excellent product... great suction... EVEN climbs the walls...I am very pleased with this product.

I have had a great experience with the MX8-Elite. This is actually my second one. The first lasted over 3 years with very little maintenance or problems. When I caught a good sale, I bought another. I figured the extra hoses and need repair parts were close to the same price. I have a PebbleTec pool in AZ, so I use the cleaner 365 days/year and I leave it in the pool at all times except taking it out when swimming. No trees. Lots of bouganvillea petals. The serpent we had died, so we needed something new. Zodiac to the rescue. So far, so good. We really like that it doesn't make noise while working and it does a good job.
