Moves around and covers the pool so much better than my old barracuda G3. I like the random pattern it takes throughout our pool.
I had an issue with my pool with algae. Like really bad algae. Now most of the issues were chemical balances in the water, but when that was situated I still had really bad stains in my plaster, so i got the mx8 elite. It was the only pool vac on the market in my price range that actively scrubs the plaster. I plugged it in and in less than 6 hours of service most of the staining was greatly reduced. After 3 days, it was pretty much gone. Great product and worth the money.

Comes ready to put in pool. easy installation and adjustment. It does not take a lot of pressure to begin moving. And, it keeps the pool really clean. Noticed that long stringy things, like long leaves or string, will jam the gears. However, with a screw driver it is easy to take out the 6 screws holding the cover over the gears and remove the offending material. Very easy to maintain and works well.

Very easy to hook up and does a great job. Well worth the money!
Cleaner does a very good job getting the pool clean. Would recommend to others. I would work on the amount of flow required to make the cleaner work. With our pump, we can run only the cleaner or the skimmer. Would like to be able to run both at the same time. It does seem to take a fair amount of flow and seems to have a fairly high restriction. Just opportunities to improve the product. We like it, it works very well and we would recommend it to others.
