It works extremely well and effortlessly. Best cleaner I have used to date.
I just replaced my original MX8. The only problem I have with them is when leaves are falling into the pool they occasionally get caught in the”butterflies” and have to be removed.
So far, so great! Very happy with this cleaner. Climbs walls like a robot and has not gotten stuck in corners once. Large leafy debris clogs brushes, but is easily remedied and it is back to cleaning. This has been my favorite vacuum so far.

my pool has never been cleaner
Upgraded from Hayward pool vac to Jacuzzi Compass. I thought it was an upgrade...neither vac worked very well at all. I wound up returning the Jacuzzi vac and getting the MX8. What a difference! Stays on the surface, climbs walls, no tube tangles or twists, and covers our entire 24,000gal pool! I couldn’t be more pleased!
So far we are very pleased with our Zodiac MX8 Elite. Our pool is looking the best it ever has! I don't have to brush the sides as often as I use to. Very happy!
