Love this pool cleaner! I had a robotic cleaner from aquabot. It was a pain to clean the filter and didn’t do a good job cleaning the entire pool. This Zodiac elite is so easy to use and keeps my pool sparkling!

Fantastic product, just fitted my free leaf basket and should see how it works in the morning.... I think the pump speed needs adjusting as it keeps trying to climb out of the pool! It’s funny to watch though.

A tip to reduce extreme wall climbing: reduce flow through the cleaner. With the pump running, while holding the MX8 Elite submerged just under the water surface, count the wheel rotations of the right wheel by referring to the yellow speed indicator. I like the Zodiac MX8 Elite very much but wish it took a little less suction to run. I replaced our Baracuda G4 with it. I use a dedicated sweep line with the skimmer working simultaneously. The G4 used less suction which allowed the skimmer to be opened more. Overall though the MX8 Elite does a superb job of cleaning our pebble surface pool.
I had the original Mx8 and loved. It. No hesitation in buying the Elite model. So far it is working fine.
