It is ok but I have to exchange it to simpler one. We have a beach entry pool. Every time it reached the beach entry the vacuum will flip on its back and it is stuck. It would not flip itself back to its normal footing. I have to check it once in a while to make sure it is not flip. These happened at least 5 times.

Bought the MX8 at Leslie’s in Costa Mesa, CA just before 4th of July, 2020. Received the cash back via mail on a Visa card. Free leaf catch eventually came; I had to call after waiting a bit to get it sorted out. So all purchase benefits came as promised. As for the MX8, it runs everyday without any problems after 3 months. I had to tweet the pool valve settings to get it to climb up to the waterline. I love the interlocking hoses. The vacuum does an amazing job. We ordered the leaf catcher attachment and it has done an outstanding job. We are surrounded by a lot of oak trees and I hardly ever have to use a skimming net. Very happy with our purchase
