OEM tracks only! Only buy these OEM ones. The off brand cheap ones ended up seizing up and locking my motor and it grinder down. Dont skimp on off brand tracks.
The right ones to get These are the genuine Barracuda/Zodiac treads as originally came with my MX6 vac. They are the ones to get, the cheaper knock off treads that you see for half price are not worth it - I know from personal experience. I replaced my worn ones with these and now the vac is moving around all areas of the pool and climbing the walls as it originally did. Yay.
Sparkling clean pool. I will only buy Zodiac genuine parts from now on. The MX8 vacuum is running like new again. The cleaning performance and reliability are worth paying a few extra dollars.

Don't Skimp, buy the OE Treads I have tried several clones on my MX-8 Elite...most were too tight to install or operate correctly.Suggestio to all, if you want the pool cleaner to work like new, bite the price bullet and by the OE item.
Single Track! Not a set Just know that this is a single track not a set of 2. I wish the description was a little clearer with that as most others are sold as a set of 2.
There are two styles - one doesn't work I ordered two of these and one was different from the other. The first photo is the one that does not work. It will fall off the drive-wheel. The second one - which has a smooth track - does work.
