Don't be fooled by the off brands! Beware to all that own MX series, do NOT get the off brand parts! I have owned my MX8 for years and have rebuilt mine. I can personally tell from experience the cheaper off brand parts WILL NOT work as well. I have a 13K gallon pool and the MX8 has been fantastic! 7yrs later and I needed to rebuild it, not hard to do. However, I purchased some new treads and didn't notice they were not from Barracuda. Work great After 12-24 months the tracks degrade and start to leave black tracks ... I replace them when that happens.
OEM and worth it I usually don't buy OEM because replacements are always cheaper and often better, but in this case many reviews for aftermarket tracks said they were too tight and inflexible. These cost more, but went on easily and Poomba (the Roomba for the pool) is happily cleaning again.
Same product in-store, but at a MUCH better price When I bought my cleaner, I was told it should last a couple of years. Mine only lasted one. Went to the store (where I bought the cleaner) and purchased two new ones. Went home and found these here for way cheaper. Returned my store-bought and ordered these. Haven't looked back since. Will buy it again when the time comes.

Great fit - have bought many times These fit my MX8 pool cleaner perfectly. I tend to replace both sides at the same time - seems to work better that way.

Original Parts are better The replacement fit perfectly, I would always recommend to use the original replacement parts instead of replicas because have found they always fit right and better quality.
