My Mom Patricia was there for about 6 months and we had a great experience. The staff from the BEST CNA Richard to the nurses and the Social workers Chris and Miriam were outstanding! Richard was so caring and went above and beyond what most CNA's do. He always made sure my Mom was clean, happy, and comfortable. Chris and Miriam really care about the patients and they were really great advocates for my Mom. They helped me get her relocated to another facility when it was time,. My 84 yo mother stayed here for 4 weeks after having to go to urgent care. She's a retired RN, my sister is a Family Medicine MD and I'm an acupuncturist. As a family that's devoted their lives to the care of others, I can say that I am so grateful for the level of care they gave our mom. This type of work is a vocation, you can tell when people's heart is in it. I will recommend and refer anyone who is in similar need to La Mesa Healthcare Center.
I had a beloved family member in this facility. the staff were warm and caring. they listened. they helped. A apecial, well-deserved stand out to Brian Whaley RN, who stayed with us through the end. My dad spent about a month in this facility, rehabbing a broken hip. He's 98. His observation anytime the subject came up on any of our frequent visits was that everybody he came in contact with was friendly, efficient and professional. That was my observation as well. I have not experienced anything to compare this place with another, but I would not hesitate to recommend this place.

I recently had a family member stay here after hip surgery. What an amazing 5 STAR rated facility. Cleanliness is so important in nursing homes so it was a relief to see how clean the place was. We spoke with the marketing person Rosemary and she answer all our concerns and questions as of course we had a lot. She just seems like a lovely genuine person and spoke to us like we were family. Had a great experience there, excellent staff, newly remodeled, very clean, top-notch physical therapist, I highly recommend this place, there's a reason why they have five star rating by Medicare
Staff was very caring. Would recommend to others who need therapy and recovery from hospital. Wish I could give 10 stars.
My friend stayed there at La Mesa Healthcare clinic and he told me the food was fantastic the house was completely clean very clean the only problem he had was that the staff is understaffed and he had trouble getting attention with less time than he would've liked That's all.
