This facility is financially dishonest. My siblings placed my 97 yr old father into this facility; we have no complaints of the care but we did transferred him out after 30 days to a quieter, smaller rest home. Due to La Mesa's pre-payment policies, we had to pay well in advance which we had no issues with. La Mesa agreed we were owed a $10,000+ refund, but after 90 days we still haven't received it. This place is HORRIBLE - My Mom almost Died while in their care! Plus food is horrible, bathrooms not clean, had to call 3x in a row to even get thru on a daily basis, one time I was on hold as a test to see how long it would take them to transfer call - 4 HOURS!

This place is a shit hole!!! My Husband was sent there after a serious illness. He was discharged on oxygen, was on oxygen while transported, yet 3 hours after he was admitted here, still no oxygen....Yet, they insisted on him having it for the 30 minute drive in our car back to the hospital. The place is rundown, dirty and disgusting!! I refused to leave him there for even one night. The website pictures are totally misleading. DON'T! JUST DON'T!!
This place is a Joke, Taking advantage of their years of experience,What I witnessed the 7 days I was there was what everyone thinks, Poor Care, Unconcern Employees,Falsifying Documents to benefit them, Leaving patients in hallways in wheelchair so the CNA's could have time to socialize, The social workers are just terrible taking their jobs as a job, telling you what you want to hear, not what's needed, I must give the Administrator an " At A Boy " only because he had only been there 3 weeks, he was informed of all my con... read more
