The Staff and Nurses were wonderful. Very helpful and friendly. Answered my questions and responded to my Uncles needs. He was wheeled in and is walking out! Thank you all for all you do. Keep up the good work!
My 93 year old mom has been in La Mesa Healthcare Center for a month after hospitalization for pnuemonia. I am very happy to say she was well cared for there. I visited her daily and found a happy , helpful environment every day. Mom said the food is delicious! Her PT and OT people as well as nursing were so caring. This was the first time she was in a specialized nursing facility and I was at a loss about what to do. The administration staff was very helpful to me.
I'm happy to say that things have changed for the better. Theres a nice improvement. I submitted a kudos for one of tour nurses, Ruth. She has a way with my mom that motivates her. Shes a wonderful nurse and I'm happy shes caring for my mom.

My father has received care and rehabilitation at La Mesa Healthcare three times in the past year, staying three to four weeks each visit. We have been extremely pleased with the staff, facilities, and quality of care that he has received each time. I'd like to take a moment to share some of my observations and experiences. Stayed there again rehabbing after heart surgery, still a great place to stay. Some of the names changed but many of my old friends still there and taking care of their patients to the best of their abilities. If you need a caring and intelligent place to take care of a loved one, this is it. Next year I'll be back, rehabbing post left knee surgery, I hope.

This facility is super clean and beautiful inside. Everyone that works there is amazing from Rosemary and the rest of the admissions and admin staff to all the nurses that work so hard to provide outstanding loving care for their patients. I highly recommend contacting Rosemary Nilsson if you are interested in finding a great facility for a loved one or yourself needing that extra therapy and care before heading home.
I had a very positive experience at La Mesa Healthcare. My mom is almost 100 years old and needed some extra care while our family found a more permanent home for her. All the staff was very kind and friendly...and went out of their way to help make the transition from her home to La Mesa Healthcare and then to a board and care facility very smooth and without stress. I think it is often hard for families to find a good nursing facility for their loved ones...but La Mesa Healthcare should be given your consideration.
I am a 56 year old man, I had 4 discs in my neck repaired surgically. Considering we only have 6 in our neck, it's extreme, I was having complications in healing, on day 5 I was still having terrible spasms and unable to even sit up. Physical therapist at the hospital was not good at all, they would walk in demand I sat up, one even tried to rough arm me to keep me up.
