1776 moved me last week. What a great experience in a stressful time. My team was Adam, Anthony, and the tall "J" man. They arrived promptly as scheduled. They were friendly, helpful, and professional. Everything was padded and loaded in record time. On arrival at my new home they unloaded, put everything back together, and arranged furniture where I wanted it. Not a thing was damaged or broken when I unpacked. Great movers for anyone but especially if you're an older lady & doing it alone. Wonderful job guys - thank you!
Honest and reliable movers. I had a last minute move and this guys took my call with no hesitation. They arrived and loaded our belongings without wasting a time. Sal with his team were very helpful and polite. They were more than willing to please us and were most gracious in going above and beyond what we had asked of them. They clearly wanted satisfied customers and made sure we were happy before leaving.
Great experience
After another company had let us down we contacted 1776 Moving and Storage at short notice and and were so glad that they were the company that moved our home. They are the most professional,courteous and effecient organisation I have dealt with and the team who did the work were superb. I am not often given to submitting reviews but an exception had to be made in this case.
Our experience with 1776 Movers started out well but ended up being a financial disaster. We were moving from Central Florida to Central Virginia in Fall 2024. Cameron, who told us he had 12 years of estimating moves, spent time going through everything in our house - all the furniture and other goods. We opened every cupboard so he could see what was in them. We told him we would pack all the non-breakable goods, and wanted them to pack all the breakable goods. I want to complain about CAM a supervisor there who told me I had a job there and even gave me a shirt but every time I call for my schedule he kept pushing it to the next week. Well after several weeks of waiting to start work, and trying to get CAM on his cell phone, my girlfriend called the main office and spoke with **** who said hes a manager. Broke furniture . Scratched and chipped several pieces of new furniture. Scratched up a wood floor. Chipped and scraped other floor. Severely damaged driveway and lawn. Angry employee throwing boxes when he thought we weren't looking. Refused to return messages regarding damages. Do not recommend their services for any reason or price.
