Pretty good place
This is a sports bar with better food. The music is loud. As you might expect, for a Friday, it was full. This is a Draft House, with the temperature of the beer posted at the bar. There are a total of 32 draft beers, separated on the menu, by flavor profile. Some bottled beer are on the menu as well.
Although we intended to sit at the bar. I heard the young lady at the check-in podium tell a lady that the wait for the restaurant was about 40 minutes.
The bar is in the shape of a squared-off "U" shape with large TVs tuned to sports station. There were four TVs just on one side of the bar. Behind the bar, at a long bar that only faces the wall, there are smaller TVs. We managed to snag two bar stools. What I appreciated was the small step about ankle-height to assist with getting up onto the stool.
Beyond the bar, there are tall, cocktail tables. Some of these look out onto large glass windows. A few brave people were sitting outside on the patio.
The dining room is separated by this half stone/half glass walls that reach up to the ceiling. The dining room is rather large as well.
Many of the items on the menu are fried, such as appetizers; however, the menu includes salads, soups, hamburgers, sandwiches, chicken fried steak, chicken fried chicken, sides and a few dessert offerings. The menu is extensive. Not as bad as the Cheesecake Factory but at least a few pages long.
We began with pretzels served with a very good cheese sauce. The next thing we ordered were the tater tots. They arrived and were not really hot. Several sauces are offered with the tots. My husband likes ranch dressing; I preferred the cheese sauce served with the pretzels. I was not a fan of the tater tots; my husband liked them.
We split the chicken fried chicken. When I told the bartender that we were going to split the dish, they divided it for us without us having to ask. We asked for the mashed potatoes, which were good, and the green beans. My husband liked the green beans. I kept my cheese sauce and used it on my chicken. I was really glad that I had as I did not care for the taste of the white gravy. (Our bill was $56 for the food and six beers. You can save a few bucks by getting there for Happy Hour.)
Beyond the dining room are the bathrooms. Ladies, this good-sized bathroom has three, clean stalls.
