Always superb service and excellent food choices, always perfectly prepared. The bartenders and servers are well trained and offer an excellent customer experience.
Great food, too bad the service is so terrible. If you want to watch a bunch of teenagers socialize and talk while they "work" then come here. I come here often with my wife and we love the food, yet we are always waiting 10+ mins to even get a drink or be noticed. And I wouldn't be saying this if they were trying and making an effort, they have 30 servers, I wish I was kidding, that look like they don't care and only want to flirt and hang with their coworkers. Do better.
Busy Sunday during the NCAA basketball playoffs. Still no excuse to be stranded at the bar without either of the bartenders looking at me. Since they didn't want my business I went to one of the high tops in the bar areas and things were much better. Very friendly service, drinks and appetizers came out very quick. Don't go unless you are a local. On a business trip and stopped in for a bite to eat. Poor service at the bar and the gringo dip appetizer was cold and the chips were broken and tasteless. Took forever to get check as bartender was attending to regulars.
Everything was great except the food service was great at the bar but the rattlesnake pasta was not up to par. My husband ordered the chicken fried steak and it was rubbery and tough to eat. We haven't been back in over a year because of the food and it's actually gotten worse.
Walked in the restaurant one hour before it closed. Staff was friendly, and treated us really good. Food quality good. Great environment
First time at any 54th Street Restaurant and must say this absolutely delicious! I placed a to-go order - food was ready within the time frame, hot and packaged well! We ordered a chicken fried steak to share which was fantastic! The chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, and mac&cheese are our new favorite for the area. Only complaint is absolutely impossible to get someone on the phone prior to order. Will definitely return! (So great forgot to take a photo before digging in)
Nice ambiance but the food was not great tasting. One thing I've learned when they're too many items on a restaurant's menu...RUN! Not for me.
Lunchtime service was below par. I walked into the restaurant and waited for a hostess. Didn't see anyone there so I sat myself down at the bar. The bar tender had just wiped it so it was very wet (put my arms in it unknowingly). I ordered the French dip sandwich. The bar tender spoke very fast and I had to ask him to repeat what he was asking me. Then I realized he was asking if I wanted horseradish or something else.
