I have been to this location several times and always received excellent service. Aidan was our bartender today and I asked for a rag to clean off my seat, but he came out from behind the bar and cleaned the seat for me. He was kind and efficient throughout our visit today. There can be a wait cause it's a popular location, but the food and drinks are delicious in a casual and fun atmosphere.
Great place with a great vibe I have been here several times and always been pleased Aidan was our bartender today he was quick with his service and even cleaned our seats off for us so big shout out to Aidan !!! It does get busy at times but worth the wait!
Visited what has become "P-Town" favorite for me. I just love the food here. My favorite is the "Prime Rib" sandwich. I've reviewed this meal before, and I should sample some of their other menu items. Yet, for the value and the taste, it's hard to pass up. This time my wife had the sandwich and I did sample the "Shrimp and Scallops dinner." As always it was a great choice. Make it a choice to visit 54th Street Grill. You won't be disappointed.
OMG! This is totally yummy and satisfying from start to finish! Can't wait to go back. Our new family special event celebration or "just need some good food" spot for sure. Tator Barrels - I could make a whole meal out of them! Burger was delish and the salad was crisp and well balanced. Don't miss this one!
The food was ok but the services was really slow. It was like there was a lot of people working but no one was helping was us. We never got drink refills and we wanted dessert but no one ever asked. Disappointened in our experience.
I had the munchies and wanted to try 54th Street so I ordered calamari, kids fried shrimp and seasoned waffle fries with gringo dip. Queso and fries sounded good. Everything looked good when they arrived. Although, I wish I had more waffle fries to go with the queso since I had more queso than waffle fries. Everything was actually really good and now I want to go dine there to try more food. Calamari was definitely the star of the show. The dip that came with it muah chef's kiss. Definitely getting that again.
Let me say that we love 54th street here in San Antonio the service and the servers are great with that said me and a friend decided to go to 54th street here in Austin once we arrived we see that it's not very crowded great so then the hostess asks us how many people we say 2 she then proceeds to say "let me see if there are any available seats, huh, what, do you see what I see?" I've given this restaurant so many tries (like 6 or 7) because it's so close to our house, but I'm tired of there always being something wrong and will never be back. The time before this last time I said I wouldn't go again, but they gave me a gift card to make up for their mistakes so I figured I'd at least use that and hope they'd improved. Nope. Wanted to try something different so made the long trek to Pflugerville, right off 45, to 54th Street Restaurant & Drafthouse. We wanted to make happy hour but weren't so happy when they only have 'select' (COT) beers on HH prices. Nothing good in those select drafts, they leave the 'good' stuff at regular price.
