We just moved here from out of state and I'm trying to find a new pediatrician for my kids. I talked to two different people, was disconnected once, and neither of the ladies were helpful. I was basically told the doctors most likely won't see my kids because they are medicated for ADD, but it is up to the doctors-- it depends if it is difficult or not. Took my son to see his pediatrician but she wasn't available so we saw another physician, Dr Weinberg and he was so awful to my child! We have been very careful during covid and even with that I caught covid and took my son for testing. Dr Weinberg asked my child when he started feeling symptoms and my child said 'last week when I was at my grandmas,'. THEY REFUSED TO HELP MY SICK SON DURING THE CORONAVIRUS BECAUSE WE MISSED A PREVIOUS APPOINTMENT!!! I have twins and had scheduled their initial appointment with this office and had to change it to a sick visit for one of the twins, so they rescheduled their initial appointment for about a week later. would give 0 stars if i could. Told my 3 year old was too close to being 4 to do a 3 year checkup. Really?? I have to come back later in the year?? WOW!! How about you do her 3 year checkup when i schedule the apt and she is 3 years old, and then when she turns 4 later next year I'll bring her back for her 4 year checkup. Apparently the person answering the phone at this place gets to determine when you are allowed to bring you child in for her annual checkup.

My kids have been patients here for years. I brought my son in for pain in a leg and a fever. I was brushed off and told it would resolve itself. Four days later he could not walk and took him to ER and he has three surgerys. Maybe it would not have happened it we were not brushed off. Then took another kiddo in for a cough and was told it was allergies. A few weeks later he still had a cough. We just moved to the area and so far have not been impressed with NB Peds. When we first arrived I set up my kids well child appointments. A week before their appointments my then 4 month old had 105 fever and needed to be seen but they would not fit her in because she was a new patient and they didn't have time to do a new patient exam. I felt lost and hopeless as moving to a new area and state is stressful enough. At our 6 month well child check I don't know if the nurse was new but she was horrible at giving shots.
