Get directionsFriendliest staff who knew all the residents by name and spoke to them. Lots of daily activities and on the weekends. Good communication with doctors. Great food. Large apartments. Not set up like a fishbowl Worked well with the family in the transition and weren't anal. Worked well with the hospital in the transition
We loved our time and all the loving and welcoming staff at Aberdeen Heights. [name removed] you are the most giving and creative Activities Director ever! You always keep everyone happy and fully engaged to live their best life! Thank you!!!
Aberdeen Heights is a warm, friendly, family-oriented Assisted Living. I was so nervous about moving my mom from her home, but she has loved every minute there! The majority of their staff has been their for many years, and they treat the residents just like their own family. The meals are exceptional, and my mom's social calendar is so much better than mine, because there are so many wonderful activities for each resident to participate in! I recommend Aberdeen to everyone, because the people there make it a very special pl... read more
The staff is always cheerful, they love their jobs, most have a lot of longevity in their jobs so they are a family. Aberdeen Heights has a LOT of activities and each is well staffed and they bring good energy. I especially like happy hour on each Wednesday at about 3pm-ish. They have a wonderful musician who comes every 1st Wednesday of the month, then a different musician comes in every 2nd Wednesday, and a different musician comes in every 3rd Wednesday, etc. Some of these great musicians have been coming into Aberdeen He... read more
Aberdeen Heights assisted living has been perfect for my mom who have dementia/alzheimers. They have many activities every day to occupy her time and are also attentive when she can't find her way. Meals are excellent! Attentive to medications, nursing staff is great!
This was a nice community, but had more of a nursing home feel.
We chose Aberdeen Heights because they are an age in place facility, so she can stay here until end of life which is important because we don't want to have to move her if her level of care increases. The rooms here are a good size and are laid out well. All of the staff are long timers which says a lot. They have plenty of activities for residents, every Wednesday they have happy hours, they bring in live music, etc. They do not a lot of variety on the types of foods so they could use some improvement there. I would absolut... read more
It is a good place. It is really hard with the Covid-19 . The food is healthy. The room sizes are great, bigger than most. It is an older building but they keep it up. They have a few courtyards for the residents to use as outdoor space. The people are just wonderful. I would recommend them to others.
“There’s NO place like Home!” Three years ago my Mother, [name removed], moved into Aberdeen Heights and found this to be true. After her second week there, she truly felt this was her new “Home” and “a new beginning” for her. There’s NO place like Aberdeen Heights. When you walk through the doors, you feel so welcomed by the Staff and immediately sense a feeling of “Family”. Every activity, whether it is Family Bingo, “Chef Mike’s” special meals, celebrations, thoughtfully planned daily events, music & entertainment ( the l... read more
