We went for lunch before a doctors appointment. We had plenty of time for a sit down meal. Sat there for over 30 minutes. Our order was never taken. Had we continued to wait for our waitress we would have been late for our appointment so we left without eating. The manager asked us how our meal was. We told him our order was never taken. He simply said "oh sorry" and walked away. I can't rate this place based on the food because we never got any. But I can tell you the customer service was awful.
After leaving church on yesterday (2/18/2017), my Pastor Robert Bailey, Jr. of Greater New Hope Church in Houston, Texas said we would come to Acme Oyster House to get some good seafood. I tried it. It was ok. It wasn't the best. It got the job done. We also had the Crawfish tails appetizer. Now those we're the bomb diggnitty! They get a 5+.
Delicious food! Charbroiled oysters and absolutely the best!
We went there with my family and my son in law's family. Most of the food was good but my fried oysters were not hot and the fried shrimp were overcooked. The rest of our party thought the food was great, mine just seemed to be cool, like the oysters and shrimp had been on a warming table for a while.
It's an ok place with ok food. Nothing really jumps out on the menu and the fried seafood is bland. Seems like it was frozen at some point. The cocktail sauce is toxic with horseradish. Need to tone that down just a tad. Our server was very nice and attentive. We also got a table in a reasonable amount of time.
I waited 1 hour for a seafood platter. Really ??? The people I was with had finished their food before I got mine ! !!our waitress was very nice though !
It took 2 hrs to get a table after we was told it would be 30 minutes after we arrived. When we did the waitress took food & drink orders for some ppl & only drink orders from the rest of our party, she didn't even ask if we wanted appetizer before she left. My 10 yr old needed a refill when she told him to remove his lid he didn't understand what she said so she repeated it with an attitude. I order take out, and was told to go bar to pick up my order, so when I arrived a young lady took my order, the initials was A. Fuse, and she was rude and so not courteous. When I walked in she said what can I help you with, I replied, I place a order and gave her the name and she just slapped the receipt on the counter and said I'll be back, now remind me she never took my money, so she comes back and hands me the food and says bye, and I said I didn't pay so I gave her the money in her HAND, and again puts the money on the... read more
