We received a letter from Action telling us that we had 1 free service available to us from the past owner’s maintenance agreement. We also received 2 phone calls repeating this. so we called for the service and to get a quote on duct cleaning. When the tech arrived he counted our ducts, gave me a quote and said we were not entitled to a free service call. I thought the duct cleaning quote was a high so got another quote. This company loves to scam people and then stalk us for years even after the family member died they still bothered us using their name. They broke a piece of my AC on purpose and stated we needed a new 9000 dollar system. He said a spray will help it to. Told him to leave when I caught them trying to scam my elderly step father into signing a contract for the 9k system. ZERO STARS. I was contacted by phone for a 1 year cleaning special. I believe it was 79 dollars. Worst experience ever. First time I had minimal issues they only cleaned one of my two returns. Second time was a nightmare. Came June 17th & by June 26th I noticed water coming out of my ceiling. Called Action back. Tech came out on Sat to determine float switch was not connected. Action Cooling and Heating ame for the annual maintenance and told me that my system was not working very well because rats had eaten holes in the air conditioning ducts and that the duct had t be replaced for $9,800. I had the condo management company send an exterminator company and they found no such holes or any signs of rats. I also had two other air-conditioner companies inspect my system and they told me no rat and no holes and that Action was known for scamming people.Further. Please Teach your technician to remove his Freon pressure meter from the air conditioner so it doesn’t cause my air handler to stop cooling air. He was here February 29 and today March 5th my neighbor’s air conditioner tech noticed the meter was still attached to my air conditioner and removed it and recapped the pipe. I noticed the interior temp was 80 and it was set for 75. The tech said the attached meter could cause the Freon to leak out. It seems that is what happened. Service was good, they did what was required. I just don’t like dealing with techs that are paid commission for upselling your companies products. They also told me that the filters that your company gave me to use in my new a/c unit were garbage.(so I am wondering why that is???)
