Will not consider further. Nice outside. Smelly and depressing inside. Rooms are OK. The room we liked is overpriced compared to other Senior options.
Overall experience is about a 4.5. Nothing's perfect and good can be difficult with over 150 people to feed at each mealtime. Selection varies, but overall is very good, not gourmet, but very good. Most of the people seem to be happily engaged in the wide variety of activity offerings.
There was some staffing problems. I really like the cleanliness, the friendliness and pricing. I would pay more for better food. They also need a very tasty diet menu.
This is a real assisted living facility. Your parent will be checked on throughout the day. They also have various doctors come in so the residents can see them if they want. My Mom loves most of the food.
My review would be that it was a good ALF for independent livers that will seek socialization in their own. Not great for more isolated individuals or those that might need to transition between independent and assisted living.

Addison Place is by far the best facility I checked on line or visited in Pinellas County. The management cares about the patients; the staff is excellent and the food is very good. The apartments are spacious. I have never met someone who hasn't been friendly. The organized activities are excellent. I enjoy the green walking paths. It is located near convenient shopping and 10 minutes from downtown Saint Pete. 5 for all but food. Food is a 3. Frequently cold. Also tomatoes sauce too sharp. Tables are Frequently not properly stocked with salt etc. They are competent and will direct you where to check further if they can't help you. I've been here a year and feel very friendly around them. They always fix whatever you as them to.
I am very impressed with Addington Place. It is smaller than some other facilities and they really get to know the residence and make sure to keep them happy and comfortable. Communication with the family has been good, no complaints.
The friendliness of the staff gets a 5+ Overall experience at Addington is excellent. Their entire staff is involved and dedicated to their residents. The facility is run well, safe and clean. The apartments are larger than the other facilities we explored. There has been some recent updating of the building. There are a lot of activities throughout the week. The monthly family parties are fun and well attended. The one negative is meals. While there are a number of choices, the quality of the food is inconsistent.
