This machine is fast, efficient, and headache free. A breeze to set up and run. And it has a dedicated slot for medical cards - does them front and back in one pass. Nice home scanner I wanted to get a feeder scanner for home. I've had good luck with Brother devices in the past, and this one lived up to that reputation. It auto detects things like color/B&W, single/double sided, etc, or you can set it manually. It also works with multiple computers.

Very consistent and reliable. If you encounter JAMMING check ... Very consistent and reliable. If you encounter JAMMING check the plastic strip at the1st set of rollers. Due to jarring or intense jamming, it may pop up. Just push it back down (You will hear a click or snap sound as it snaps into place) The strip is transparent and is hard to see if it is out of place.
Go ahead and get it - you will be so grateful next time you have to scan a multi-page doc. I have now had this scanner for about a year and I am only sorry that I didn't buy it sooner. The time and aggravation of working with a flatbed scanner are gone. This thing works like a champ! I use PDF X-Change as my pdf editor and was delighted to discover that once I installed the scanner (essentially just plugged it in) it showed up in my pdf editor. Plays very well with my Mac. I love Brother printers and this scanner. I use Mac and these 2 manufacturers work very well together. HP made me crazy with issues. Brother products rock!
