First of all, the workman arrived terribly late. It was already dark. He said he was running behind but not much more of an apology. He did a visual inspection of the fireplace , shone a light up the flue, and said everything looked okay. Because it was dark he was unable to do any inspection up on the roof or outside. He did go over the operation of the fireplace, opening and closing the flue, the venting and the fan. That was satisfactory.
