Alamo Water Softeners installed our 45,000 Alamo Sentry water softener on a Wednesday after an initial at home consultation on the prior Friday. Trevor was great at explaining the details of the water softener and suggesting the correct water softener for my wife and me. We discovered our old water sofener was leaking and began calling for estimates toreplace it, since it was 12 years old. Allen Townsend called back within minutes and set up an appointment to see us. We interviewed 2 other companies, including the maker of our old system, and none offered the value that Alamo Water Softeners did. I contacted Alamo Water Softeners to get an estimate on the installation of a water softener. Allen Townsend answered the call right away and scheduled an appointment with me within the next couple of days. Allen was personable, professional, and never used any high pressure sales tactics. Allen came out and explained in detail how the two systems would work and gave us a firm bid for the job. He was very knowledgable and gave a good comparison of the other products on the market. Installation took place a week latter and took about 2 hours. The installer was very friendly and helpful in showing us how to operate and maintain the system. We had just purchased a new home paying extra to have it pre-plumbed for a water softener. We spoke to 2 other companies who were only going to allow a small discount for their set installation fee. Alan came to give me an estimate, and he recommended a system that would fit my needs best. There was no pushy sales tactics like I had seen from other companies. Alan thoroughly explained how the installation was going to be done. The contractors showed up on time, were very professional and friendly .
