Our critters love the Anamosa vet clinic! The staff are like family!
They also make farm calls for livestock. A new ISU graduate did very well with administering a subjunctival steroid injection for Uveitis in a horse. They seem nice and want my business...offering a $10 referral bonus for new clients
I bring my dogs here from the NW side of Cedar Rapids to see Dr. Darrow because I like the way he cares for my pets. He has always done an amazing job and is very knowledgeable. We have two Shiba Inus, which is not a common breed around here, but Dr Darrow seemed very knowledgeable in specific health conditions that this breed can develop. My only complaints are that some of the doctors and assistants just barge into the room and it often scares my dogs and ruins any chance of trust from my pets. Anamosa vet clinic is the best. The drs and staff care so much about your pets. They truly understand that your four legged friends are your kids. I changed vets 2 years ago and I'm so thankful I did!

We've had nothing but positive experiences with all the staff at AVC. Kind, compassionate, accommodating, knowledgeable and affordable. I've referred them to several people and I know they've had positive experiences too. We live in Marion and have since the 08 flood made us relocate and a few yrs after we looked for a new vet and I am so glad we found these guys. I wish I would have found them sooner. We called on the way over for an emergency visit after our two girls doggies got into a fight over my cat in our Christmas tree. Handled the dogs wonderfully and everyone is doing well now. The staff even helped me wrangle my 70lb girl inside in her kennel...then once coaxed out my scared hurt babies were giving kisses to both the vet and tech.
