Prices keep going up but quality of service keeps going down. After a surgery they brought my dog out still wobbly from thr anesthesia pouring blood. They asked if I had a towel for the ride home. I was furious and customers in the lobby were gasping at her condition. One of the attendants said oh dont worry she just had a surgery as she's about to fall over pouring blood. I am heartbroken they charged me for medicine for my cat who was literally dying in those moments. he had already been in a couple of weeks prior for respiratory issues and they played it off as allergies. i had to take him back in because he was getting worse. they did xrays at my request and they sent me home and told me to just give him the meds and not even an hour later he was so oxygen dependent we had to say goodbye at the emergency vet because I couldn't just drive 40 minutes all over again because they didn't want t... read more

we took our dog Benson in to be put down. The "vet" or what ever she was had to poke him twice with the needle because the first time it came out. she told us she would come back in 10 mins to give Benson his final shot well 10 mins had passed and he started gasping for air my boyfriend had to go out into the hall twice to tell someone it was time and that Benson was ready it was the most horrible experience I've ever had, I will never, ever go back there. they were just to busy . my dog and my feelings just didn't matter to... read more

We took our dog to this clinic twice and would NOT recommend them. The lady who checked me in was on her phone while helping me and made me feel like asking her questions was an inconvenience. The lady who got my dog for me after surgery didn’t reassure me that she knew the answer to my questions in regards to after care, I don’t even know who did the surgery! Do not go here!

August 2018 I took my dog to get TPLO surgery and everything went well. In September of 2019 she got a infection, called my primary vet and tried antibiotics and then called Anamosa to let them know what was going on and said to bring her in and we will take it out. I brought her in and they stated unfortunately we had to stitch her back up because we didn’t have the right tool to get the last screw out. We give her antibiotics and it will heal. If I could get this Vet clinic Zero stars I would, because back then the doctors Used to be Right on time for appointments, NOT this time had to WAIT almost 40 Minutes JUST get My cat looked for some tests and that took ANOTHER 20-30 minutes. This vet clinic used to be Very Good, but this has Crossed the line the doctor that came and NO IDEA what she was doing?! NEVER coming back EVER Again and I don’t recommend them Anymore!
