I agreed to the Dental Gold package which Ashton recommend! I was then asked if I wanted a snap test done I said absolutely not as I never ever have that test done on my pets! EVER! My pets records reflects this fact! They went ahead and preformed the snap test and charged me for it as well as charging me for other things that I did not discuss what so ever with Ashton! After being a client of theirs for 20 years I will never go back, unless they make this right!!!!

Business response:

Hi Cherrie. We will call you tomorrow and go over your surgical consent form. We always look to do what services our clients request and what is best for their pets.

Don’t get me wrong, this is a great clinic, the vets know their stuff and the staff is helpful. The BIG problem they have is that they keep taking on new clients and when you call to get your pet in, they “work” you in but your waiting forever(I’m talking like 45-hour just to get in a room sometimes. I’ve contacted the office manager about this too and get the run around. So as much as I want to recommend this vet, if you value your time at all, or if your fur baby is a member of your family just like mine are, and don’t wan... read more

Took my kitten here to get evaluated because her eyes they told me everything was fine she was healthy and they weren't worried about a thing besides if her eyes started to irritate her to come back in. They gave her, her first shot and dewormer not even a week later she got sick with a cold I called them yesterday they said they would evaluate her again but I would have to pay another exam fee for them to just look at her as they did before when she first went than this morning she died. My daughter and I are devastated los... read more

This clinic KNOWINGLY supports puppy mills. When I bought my Yorkie from a breeder I didn't realize they were a puppy mill. They told me they brought their dogs to Anamosa Vet Clinic, so I thought I'd bring my dog there, too. After we got our dog home, we quickly realized how terrified she was around people, she had never been on a leash, didn't know what a treat or a toy was, ate her poop, had a deformed paw (we think she got it got in her cage). When I brought her to the Vet at Anamosa Vet Clinic I told the Vet, "I don't t... read more

I would not even give them a 1. Our Great Dane was fixed here a few weeks ago. She was returned to us at pick up covered in urine and blood all the way up to her paws and snout and no explanation was given. We had to lay blankets and towels all over our house so her smell and the greasy dried up pee wouldn't get on things. She was miserable. It was clear there was no effort to even clean her up in the slightest bit. My family took multiple pictures of our poor baby and contacted management. It took them 3 days to get back to... read more

Not pleased at all. My dog and I waited for a half hour to be seen for probably 4 minutes. The vet burst into the door and scared my dog and made her bark, which she rarely does. She should've calmly walked in, got onto her level and let her sniff. You think a vet would know how to approach a new animal. It was a routine visit after being adopted and she also has a limp now so I had her checked for that too. All she did was look her over quickly and I had to prompt her to do more than that and check her heart and lungs. She ... read more
