we took our dog Benson in to be put down. The "vet" or what ever she was had to poke him twice with the needle because the first time it came out. she told us she would come back in 10 mins to give Benson his final shot well 10 mins had passed and he started gasping for air my boyfriend had to go out into the hall twice to tell someone it was time and that Benson was ready it was the most horrible experience I've ever had, I will never, ever go back there. they were just to busy . my dog and my feelings just didn't matter to... read more

We took our dog to this clinic twice and would NOT recommend them. The lady who checked me in was on her phone while helping me and made me feel like asking her questions was an inconvenience. The lady who got my dog for me after surgery didn’t reassure me that she knew the answer to my questions in regards to after care, I don’t even know who did the surgery! Do not go here!
August 2018 I took my dog to get TPLO surgery and everything went well. In September of 2019 she got a infection, called my primary vet and tried antibiotics and then called Anamosa to let them know what was going on and said to bring her in and we will take it out. I brought her in and they stated unfortunately we had to stitch her back up because we didn’t have the right tool to get the last screw out. We give her antibiotics and it will heal. If I could get this Vet clinic Zero stars I would, because back then the doctors Used to be Right on time for appointments, NOT this time had to WAIT almost 40 Minutes JUST get My cat looked for some tests and that took ANOTHER 20-30 minutes. This vet clinic used to be Very Good, but this has Crossed the line the doctor that came and NO IDEA what she was doing?! NEVER coming back EVER Again and I don’t recommend them Anymore!

Sitting in a waiting room now. Have been in here for 25 mins with no nurse or doc to come see my ailing pup. The room in front and behind us got here after us and have both been seen already. This place has gone down hill. I have been bringing pets here since 2003 and the new staff and changes they have made to this office are horrible. I have been less than impressed by their service lately. Was in a month or so ago to get my dog her allergy shot and it was 43 minutes before anyone even came into the exam room. No one bothered letting us know they would be running behind. They didn’t even bother to address other concerns I had during our visit. Just yesterday morning I had to call at 4 am to try to reach their emergency line due to our dog having a severe reaction (severely swollen eyes, muzzle and hives everywhere) to something still unknown.
