A good friend of mine was going out of town on a business trip and trusted this vet clinic to take care of his 10 week old puppy. She was diagnosed with pneumonia the week prior and was receiving treatment so he felt leaving her at a vets office and giving them permission to do anything she needed (feeding tube, IV, oxygen...) was the best option for his puppy’s health. unfortunately I had a horrible experience at Orlando Hospital at Lee Vista. On September 7th 2017, I took my dog there because he was throwing up and there was blood in his urine. Dr Melissa Adams was the one who took care of him. They did an XRay and blood work which detected an infection. My dog was dehydrated, he was given fluids for not even 20 minutes and then he was sent home. Dr Melissa Adams gave him antibiotics orally but he rejected it. We are very sorry for your family's loss of your beloved pet. We very much would have preferred to run more tests on Neymar, as well as hospitalized him, which was recommended strongly by Dr. Adams. We presented 2 treatment plans both with hospitalization on them, and both were declined. We recommended iv fluids, which were also declined, leaving us the only approved option to give subcutaneous fluids to try and help the dehydration the best we could. RUN AND DON'T LOOK BACK. ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS MONEY. First time I visited Dr Adams told me what I'm going to pay and didn't bother to even look at my dog's rash. I had to remind her to do what she was charging me for. This time I came back with my dogs hurt foot and they did their exam and gave antibiotics, I needed to change bandage 2 days later after paying over 220 dollars and they wanted to charge me all over again for exams. Even after already giving me an estimate that was much lower to replace bandage. Their excuse ... read more

We have been going to this animal hospital for the last 8-10 years! Their inability to help and to honor a prescription for my dog because it was filled out by a doctor that doesn't work there anymore! Every time we go in there is a different doctor. Every time we go they tell us we are feeding our dog the wrong food which is interesting because we are feeding her what they told us to feed her last time! They just want your money! I WILL NOT recommend this animal hospital to anyone!!!!!
