They kill my sister dog and told us that the dog had only 30% chance of life and still charging 3000 dollars they ask us 300 dollar to have the dog back and just because we are Latinos they say that some of our people don’t pay anything I would like to contact the owner of this hospital because when they give us the dog back it only took 5 hours and the dog die in my mom harms

I wouldn't even give this place 1 star! I've had one too many issues with them! My mom visited them a couple of months ago to take a sick puppy in. She had to rush him in and bring two of my nieces along. My mom wasn't in the best of health at that time. She has bad knees and at the time she had bronchitis. Fast forward..... while my mom and nieces were IN THE ROOM with the dr and assistants, my mom dropped her pen. It was hard for her to bend down to pick up the pen because of her bad knees. I've gone to a smaller clinic with my 12 year old shitzu her whole life, and they were good for check ups and exams but so slow. When our boxer, Dak, went down, scary fast, Animal Medical Center was there to get him better. They are fast, efficient and super friendly. Dr. Scott did a great job, talked to us everyday about Dak's condition and truly cared (that makes the biggest difference!). They loved o... read more

I called about having a gentle stray cat that has a bad tooth. The staff wouldn't even assess her until a $70 fee was paid. The cat is in serious pain. I think about the thousands of dollars my family has paid to that office. Really? Come on Mayfields. One compassionate courtesy case? Or is $$$$ the only important factor?!
