Animal Medical Center was established in 1983 at 6201 Amarillo Boulevard West as a full-service veterinary facility with one veterinarian on staff. In 1993, the size of the facility was doubled to add additional boarding and hospital space. In 1998, we again enlarged the facility and also separated the hospital business from the boarding business. The Vets, Techs and staff are fantastic! They have Paw Plans that are available for purchase in order to easily afford preventive care for your dogs and cats which saves us a great deal of money! Animal Medical Center is just all around a great place that truly care about the fur babies and their owners. Most of all, if your fur baby is sick or has special needs, they are all willing to find answers and solutions first, and not immediately discuss end of life options. My first visit was yesterday and I didn’t need an appointment to have my rescue evaluated. The staff had a great system in place to protect with COVID and they were efficient and kind. Dr. Hardy called from inside and discussed options about care and to my surprise it was affordable. No unnecessary expenses just options and kindness. My rescue has been through a lot and he is feeling so much better today thanks to the staff! Bandit approves!
