Just had my annual wellness exam. As usual, a comprehensive review. Dr. Burgess is always relaxed and willing to spend as much time as needed to answer any questions and offer sounds advice and referrals. I fully understand her reasons for prescriptions and appreciate that she respects my choices. I left feeling positive and assured.

A person I know was at the end of her rope. She was 'assigned' Dr. Burgess because no other providers were available at the time. In short order Dr. Burgess caught her downward spiral and literally saved her physical & mental health. I'm convinced that her care saved her life. Dr Burgess is still her practitioner and without her care her life would be back in the gutter. Dr Burgess is a healer and not just a person who works in Health Care as a job. If you can get a slot I'd take it.
So far so good. I will update If need be. I lost my favorite doctor, Dr. Elstun back in 2016 when she took a job for the underprivileged in another country. That's admirable, but left me doctorless and the pickings are slim. I finally found Dr. Burgess and amazingly, she was one of the doctors who trained Dr. Elstun back in the day. That made me feel better about things. So far she wasn't judgmental, took her time, and seems to care. I'm new to her practice but so far so good.
I have seen her only twice and the last time was the worst. I had a migraine that had been going for a few days and went in to see her. She shrugged me off, blamed it on environment or food triggers (which I've never had), refused to give me anything, and told me I would have to wait for my regular doctor to get back from vacation. That migraine ended up staying around for TEN DAYS.
After coming into the clinic with only two people ahead of me, I waiting in an exam room for almost two hours and all I got was we are sorry. This is an Urgent Care clinic. There was nothing urgent about their care of me. I left and went down the street to another clinic and got in to see the doctor in 15 minutes with two people ahead of me. Other people I know that have tried this urgent clinic all told me the same thing about waiting for ever and not going back. I will not go back.
