Anthony Sylvan Pool Company was contacted in May of 2012 to build our pool with waterfall and bench seating around the pool for entertaining. The construction went as scheduled and by July 4th we were swimming! The pool is great and we have thoroughly enjoyed it. I would highly recommend Anthony Sylvan Pools to anyone considering putting in a pool. Their employees were knowledgeable and very helpful in designing our pool and following through from start to finish. We are very satisfied with our purchase. Thanks again!
I just remember it taking longer than it was supposed to. They cleaned up after themselves and the ordering process was easy. I'd probably use them again. I've had my pool for about a month and a half I guess since it finished. Well, first, they weren't able to swim in it. It was the first day. They got really cold. The grandkids had been there a couple of times, but it's really been too cold. It was a pleasant experience. Very nice.
POOL INSTALLATION. THEY DID A GREAT JOB INSTALLING MY POOL. THEY SHOWED ME THE PROPER WAY TO CLEAN THE POOL AND TEST THE WATER.
Put in in-ground swimming pool. Service was good. No complaint. I do have a complaint about a salesman. Salesman came to us and lied to us many things. He gave us wrong dates. He was a liar. We had 5-6 times they were supposed to show up but didn't because of the weather conditions but the service was good.
Pool Installation. They guys they have doing the work are not the cleanest. My yard was a trash dump for a while and I had to get on the foreman a lot to get them to stop making a mess. Secondly the delays were ridiculous for months at times. They were paid in full up front. I did have an led out and a warranty, but it took them a couple weeks to get a contractor out to repair that. For the last six years, we wanted a pool and we got a bunch of quotes from multiple pool companies. We were really pleased with the Anthony & Sylvan salesperson over everybody else. This person came out and discussed everything with us. We ended with a rectangular chlorine pool with a little deck or beach area. It also has a raised one-foot wall on the backside and my favorite is the travertine feature. However, I wasn't pleased with my interactions with the project manager and scheduling team. I spoke to Anthony & Sylvan's salesman and I liked his ideas. He was newly hired by Anthony & Sylvan and he is the one who brought us to them. We got a free-form pool with a spa and I like the way it fits into the natural landscapes and other existing structures we have. However, the project manager is a poor communicator and never knew what was going on. I would recommend Anthony & Sylvan to a friend with the caveat of being careful with the project manager.
My wife and my daughter wanted a pool for a long time. So when my wife's friend referred Anthony & Sylvan, we had them install for us a free-form pool, with a spa that I really like. Their staff did what they are supposed to do for the most part. The project manager would come by when he was supposed to and would talk to us a little bit about what was going on and the scheduler would call if there was a scheduling issue. We chose Anthony & Sylvan for the warranty. We had a freeform, 3 ft. by 6 1/2 ft. chlorine pool on the deck and we liked the waterfall. We had a great salesman but a horrible construction manager at the beginning. We were in a limbo a lot and the salesman couldn't help us. He never showed up and the communication is horrendous. We would have something scheduled and nobody would show and at 5 o'clock I'd get a phone call from their office in Houston saying 'We're calling to tell you that they're not going to show up today.
