When Anthony & Sylvan did the construction of the pool, they had several groups responsible for a different aspect of the construction and each one of those groups did a very nice job. Also, the project manager was always easy to get in touch with. I like the pool but my only complaint was the length of time for the construction which started April 29th and we couldn't use it until after Labor Day. Overall, the pool really adds to the outside and there's a pretty patio around it so it looks very inviting.
My wife wanted a pool for about 10 years. Anthony & Sylvan is very reputable and I saw them on the internet as one of the primary builders in Virginia so I chose them. We had multiple interactions with the project manager and the scheduling team throughout the process. We had a couple of different pool companies come out and give us estimates. I was happiest with Anthony & Sylvan and they had some good reviews online, so I chose them. Everything went great with our project manager and the scheduling team. It seemed like it took forever at one point, but it's because I was anxious. We moved in to our new home in Virginia and we're used to having a pool so we wanted one. Our option was Anthony & Sylvan as some of the pools in our old neighborhood in PA used them to build theirs. For an in ground pool, they were the same as the most reputable company. Our pool is free-form and has a spa. I enjoy being able to spend our outside time for some gatherings and having people over and having a place to swim.
Anthony & Sylvan was referred to us by someone, and we got a quote from a number of different pool companies and we liked them. I like our pool's size, and the way it was fit in the landscape was nice. The project manager and scheduling team were very responsive. They came on a regular basis and kept me up to date on everything. Whenever we had a problem, they were quick to respond and fix the problem.
My wife and I had an inground pool installed by Anthony & Sylvan Pools at our home in early summer 2015. The entire process was first-rate from start to finish. We are very pleased with our new pool and anxiously await warmer weather. I would recommend Anthony Sylvan Pools to anyone. I'm sure they'll be just as pleased as we've been.
New pool construction . I shopped around a lot of pool builders over a year. Phil Kinney from Anthony and Sylvan Pools was the most knowledgable person and he knew exactly what I wanted. I made a few changes to the original design and he was very accomodating. He even talked to the owner and tried to get the best price for the options. A friend of mine said Anthony & Sylvan were the best so, I went with them. They built the pool which is now, already 14 years old. The renovation design consultant initially met me. We've had a couple of conversations over the phone and then he met us at the house. And then, he was able to walk us through the process, gave us some recommendations on what to do, how re-design or how to re-plaster an old pool, walked us through a lot of what I would call different actions that we have. We got estimates from two companies and chose Anthony & Sylvan because they got back to us and we now have a rectangular pool done by them. I like the blue stones around it. We got very comfortable calling and talking to the project manager and the scheduling team. They addressed any issues we had and it was a very smooth process. They got back to me regularly.
