My wife and I contracted with A&S Pools in the late winter of 2012. We met with a salesperson who did a pretty good job outlining the various details involved in building a pool. We contracted to build a 20x40 foot pool with a rock wall behind the pool and plenty of decking around the pool. Initially, I was less than pleased with the salesperson that I had purchased the pool from, but realized that I wouldn't see the salesperson again after signing the contract. From there on, I was extremely pleased with the PM (Josh) and the Indoctrination tech (Ron). Josh was extremely communicative throughout the whole process, understood my concerns, kept me in the loop on the progress, any issues, etc. This was from day one until the project was completed. Completely stripped pool down to the shell and rebuilt into new pool.
Anthony & Sylvan Pools built a pool for us. The job turned out good. They did keep up their promise, but there were some issues and they had to come back and fix them. I would consider using them again besides evaluating others as well.
They are building us a new pool. The pool is 20x40 feet. They pour the cement and everything. They fill the pool after the cement dries. The will do the chemicals and will teach us how to do it. They have been very careful not to tear out things not too bad. They level everything out and cover everything so an animal won't fall in. They're very courteous. They don't bother us. The job is getting done timely. The staff that sold us the pool were great and handled everything very well.
Anthony &Sylvan did an outstanding job with our pool.We've been wanting a pool for 5 years. We did Online research. We chose them because they were competitively priced and their design team delivered a great presentation. Our pool is a Freeform, heated saltwater. The entire design is great. We love the time outdoors that the pool gives us. Our project manager, Greg. He was outstanding. Their design and construction plans were excellent.
My husband wanted a pool put in and Anthony & Sylvan was the closest to our home so he sought them out. In the very beginning, I didn't have a good experience with Anthony & Sylvan. They broke my water line in digging my spa and my electrical line and told me to call them when I got it fixed. The pool opened and I had less than a month to enjoy it. I was not happy about that. We use Anthony & Sylvan for opening and closing our pool and we've also gone up to their Chantilly office for their advice as we have converted ours to a saline pool. I've talked with a gentleman there and had him walk me through some of the steps to do with the heater. We love the appearance of the pool. However, it's got some warranty issues that has to be dealt with because there's serious cracking going on right now. Sylvan pools originally installed the pool in 1989 and the surface lasted until 2012. We went with a different company to save some money. Unfortunately, four years later we needed a complete resurfacing because of the poor quality the other company did. The other company would not return phone calls so of course the warranty ran out. We decided to go with Anthony Sylvan and we're glad we did. So far surface looks great. They completed the job in 2 days.
