*****, **. First of all, I like the gym. Its clean and provides what I need. No issues with the facility.Local and regional management are the reason I give the gym a poor rating. Communication is not easy. Local manager is not versed on how to interact with people. His demeanor and body language gives you the impression he does not care about your business or handling the problem. This company shows no concern for the senior consumer. ***************** we had a fun line dancing class.Great exercise, coordination,balance and most importantly socialization. Dance teaches rhythm and memory. This company ended our class. Money and greed. That's there bottom line.

I have attempted to reach the business in various ways over the last several weeks to cancel my membership and have not been able to get ahold of anyone at all. I have called the office multiple times and the phone just continuously rings with no voicemail box to leave a message. I have sent a request via email with no response whatsoever. There is no one ever in the office when stopping by. I continue to be charged and have not used my membership in several months.

My husband canceled is contract and he was never presented with a contract to sign. Then we he thought that all was settled they started billing him again after handing over their belongings in October 2023. They restarted charging him for ******* and February. Then when he went to have it sorted out they told him the account was put on hold which he was never told. The manager of the Anytime Fitness located at ********************************************************************************** is named *************************. He refuses to answer the phone, return voicemails, respond to emails. When I wanted to cancel he would only accept a cancellation in written letter. I sent that to him. Then he refused to cancel my membership and sent my account to collections. DO NOT SIGN A GYM MEMBERSHIP WITH ANYTIME FITNESS ANYWHERE!!!!

Employee that signed me up for membership blatantly lied about it, saying I could cancel at any time. Calling the parent company, *** Fitness, has resulted in nothing being done and being told my membership cannot be cancelled, despite having actual reason to cancel, such as living more than 15 miles away from the nearest gym with proof provided.

A zero if possible. I moved away from this gym 6 months ago and asked politely over the phone if my membership could be canceled, I was then instructed to wait out my contract which I thought was reasonable, after the contract ended I continued to call again and cancel, at which point I was then told I would have to send a PHYSICAL LETTER to Arizona in order to do this I have called other branches which say that this is not necessary or standard and that this cancelation should not have been an issue. I have been a member of Anytime Fitness, *****, **. ***** for 13+ years. There have been several owners during this time. The new owner, Bandon Fitness, is the only owner to take away services. They are obviously not familiar with small town America or senior citizens. Owning a business should not be just about making money. **************** is also important. Senior citizens need classes for movement and stretching to help live a longer life. They have taken this away from their clients.
