Just to add to my previous review, I have decided to drop the rating because my newest discovery about this place has me absolutely livid. Due to the can't-be-bothered nature of the medical care offered by this facility, I have discovered that my son, who Dr. Gonzalez couldn't to be bothered to examine for more than 5 minutes, has had untreated pneumonia for who knows how long. I will not ever use them again. If you want doctors who CARE, and spend time with your child, check out Paradise Pediatrics.

This place WAS great. I unfortunately had to change because Dr. Namjoshi got to busy. My wait time went from 2 minutes to 30 minutes to and hour, hour and a half. The wait is never typically in the waiting room where they provided entertainment for the children by playing movies, it is in the physical room itself. No one ever comes to check on my sick kid or myself to update me on when my dr would be in. As he always runs behind! As for getting sick visits appointments, they were far few and between. Absolutely aweful office. I called in today to get my daughter seen and was told there was an appointment available. This office had no issue taking my insurances money to do a sports physical for my son right away but since my daughter had yet to be seen by them, she suddenly was not able to have the same appointment. We had scheduled a doctors appointment a week prior to going to the doctors practice. Once we arrived we were informed that the doctor was not in the office that day. This was extremely unprofessional of the office staff. There was no phone call prior to our appointment no attempts at all to inform us that our doctor would not be there for the schedule appointment. Not impressed at all and left appt. Very upset. I came in for my daughter's first doctor appt. She is only a week old and was told that our appt was for 8:30 when making the appt. I asked about printing new patient registration forms online to help with the process and was able to locate and print them ahead of time. I arrived 10 minutes early and by 9:27, we were still sitting in the waiting room. My family has been going to this physician's office for over 20 years. I have not had any complaints over these years until recently when I brought three kids there for their immunizations. The MA came into the room with 12 unlabeled syringes and even had drawn up tetanus instead of meningococcal. She did not apologize to me, but rather became angry and refused to give the immunizations that day to my children because I had the audacity to ask her how she knows what immunization is in what syringe. My children have been patients at Scottsdale Children's Group since my first son was born in April 2005. I absolutely LOVED this place and could not have imagined better care for my precious bundle. As the stork dropped off two more babies over the years, I continued to choose for them to be cared for at the Shea location of Scottsdale Children's Group. I constantly referred new moms to SCG. We have two children and have been coming here for the past 2 1/2 years. I have never had one appointment where the Dr. was actually on time. Today was the final "straw that broke the camels back" as I waited for 45 minutes with my children for our appointment. If you don't mind waiting around for your appointments then I guess this children's group is "adequate" but we will no longer be frequenting this location.

I cannot tell you how disappointed I am in this group. They have gotten too big to care. My children have been going there for years for their well check-ups. However, whenever I need an emergent visit for a sick child they are never, ever available for me. I always get the same attitude from the front desk that they don't have any appointments available. They are not available on weekends, nights, or holidays. They are only worried about collecting their co-pays and making sure they are paid immediately after each vis... read more
