The staff is phenomenal very caring and very helpful and very knowledgeable and the facility is beautiful. The food is sensational.
They are all incredibly friendly. Helpful and personable. They he place is the best in the area. The studio is on the small side. But since mom can't move much it's fine. The other rooms are good size. Amenities are great. It's a really nice place. Big and not sterile like all the other places seem.

In general, the facility is bright and clean. Nice location. The staff is mostly very friendly and accommodating, generally looking out for the care and best interests of the residents. The nursing staff is adequate but can be slow to react when issues arise or changes are noted in a resident's health or demeanor. A couple of other observations...They are quick to adjust care levels (and costs) when temporary issues arise that require additional monitoring, but slow to reevaluate when those requirements are no longer needed.... read more

It was mostly positive. Very clean, well run and maintained facility. If the care attendants could have been better it would have been a 5 overall.

The staff is extremely helpful and responsive. The move-in process was seamless. They hung the pictures and hooked up the TV cable. They were very flexible in terms of food - think my father-in-law requested a cheeseburger or a grilled cheese with bacon everyday! They catered to his wishes. The nursing staff was very attentive in terms of changing his leg wound bandages. Could not say enough about the care he received.

Staff is very helpful and friendly. Facility is well maintained, clean, and pleasant. Nice outdoor areas. Communication is sometimes lacking as it relates to care levels (cost) and standard procedures. My uncle frequently seems bored and I notice many activity rooms in the building that are empty (not in use).

We had a great experience with Arbor Terrace Shrewsbury, although it was less than 2 months before our loved one passed away. The public area was always clean, but his room often had dirty glasses and bowls. Empty water bottles sitting around rather in trash. Trash can would be overflowing. Arbor Terrace Shrewsbury is a beautiful facility. We ended up going with another Arbor Terrace location because they offered independent living. My mother just fit in better with the residents over there. I did not think she would gel with the people here as well.

Overall I thought Arbor Terrace Shrewsbury was fine based on our tour. They met the basic criteria for our needs. At that point, it just came down to personal preference for our loved one.
