Arbor terrace was excellent in every sense. They were quite flexible and accommodating. They had good food and kind staff. It was organized and clean. They were reasonably priced, approaching underpriced compared to the competition.

So far the experience has been great. My mom is loving her apartment. The staff has been super friendly and caring always trying to help in any way they can for my mom. The dining experience has been interesting food has been good, service has been mixed. But they have made some changes to leadership and promised improvements in that area. My mom was reluctant after 45 plus years owning her own home and being by herself. But she has made so many friends already and is enjoying the activities and fitness classes. I would recommend Arbor Terrace. While others may have a different preference. One of the top things on my "preference list" was a minimum of traffic & pollution and a sense of tranquility, which Arbor fulfills. To be perfectly honest, the 1 thing that have been of concern for me is a security issue e.g. access to each tenant's room, I think that the internal controls in that area needs to be tightened. Biggest problem is that there are not enough staff. Second problem is the rigidity of dining arrangements. Everyone must have an assigned table and an assigned time for eating. Breakfast and dinner are provided but I don't eat breakfast and I still do not have a permanent dinner table after 3 months. They cannot provide a table at my preferred time of 5:45 and want me to eat at 6:30 which is too late. Third problem is that the quality of the food is quite variable. The team was very welcoming to my grandfather and family from the very first time we toured Arbor Terrace. Every time I walk in to visit I am greeted warmly and any questions I have are answered quickly. I feel that the residents are genuinely cared for and respected by all the staff. The apartments are spacious and clean, as well as the entire building. We are very happy with our decision to make The Arbor Terrace my grandfather’s new home.
It's a wonderful community-- friendly residents, caring, competent workers, uplifting atmosphere. The location was perfect for us.

I would definitely recommend Arbor. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The meals are good quality, but as with any other facility it is difficult to please every taste. Housekeeping is okay. I am used to more in depth cleaning, but they do exactly what is promised and that is fine. Move in was good with a proviso that not everything is put where you want it - but it would be silly to complain when I didn't have to pack boxes or unpack most of what we brought. Arbor Terrace has the best staff, great amenities and good food. I have been a resident for three years and are pleased with the community. Teaneck is a nice area with lots of shops and the community overlooks a nature preserve.

My loved one was previously a resident at Arbor Terrace Teaneck and everything about this facility and her experience was great! Everyone was excellent! The cleanliness and friendliness were great.
