I would definitely recommend Arbor. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The meals are good quality, but as with any other facility it is difficult to please every taste. Housekeeping is okay. I am used to more in depth cleaning, but they do exactly what is promised and that is fine. Move in was good with a proviso that not everything is put where you want it - but it would be silly to complain when I didn't have to pack boxes or unpack most of what we brought. Arbor Terrace has the best staff, great amenities and good food. I have been a resident for three years and are pleased with the community. Teaneck is a nice area with lots of shops and the community overlooks a nature preserve.
My loved one was previously a resident at Arbor Terrace Teaneck and everything about this facility and her experience was great! Everyone was excellent! The cleanliness and friendliness were great. The staff, meals and activities were also great. I would 1000% recommend Arbor Terrace Teaneck to family and friends!
We picked this community, because of the location, friendly staff and residents, and beautiful facilities. I would recommend it highly. They have everything you could want--book clubs, Happy Hour, exercises, Movies, Trips, and etc.
I have lived at Arbor Terrace for almost four years, and have loved every moment of my stress free life here! The apartments are unusually bright and beautiful, with a variety of floor plans. There are a number of activities for mind and body, such as: daily exercise programs, lectures, crafts and art projects, daily movies, a book group, plus musical entertainment and special seasonal celebrations. Arbor Terrace was very nice. This actually was our runner up facility, but they did not have any availability. The only downfall was the location is not the best, nothing is within walking distance so I thought that my dad might feel trapped. There was a park across the street but it was under construction.
Out of everything I seen they are superior to everything. It was truly a godsend and they were relatively cheaper than everyone else. I have recommended this community to many people already for their loved ones. This community is clean and in a beautiful area, there is wildlife, the food is good, the staff care is amazing and they have done things above and beyond for my loved one. We loved Arbor Terrace. My loved one was very happy here, the facility itself is warm and cozy and just the right size. The administrative staff were wonderful and the everyday staff were great as well. I think it is the best place in this area.
The apartment is very pleasant and comfortable at this community. The outside surroundings are lovely. The community is located near a creek with a lot of trees. The core program is good but maybe the staff could be a little more professional.
