My visit at Asher Point was excellent. [name removed] took me on the tour and explained all amenities and details regarding how everything worked. Asher Point has so many scheduled activities for the residents along with a library, beautician, gym, and more. The cafeteria has a menu that is actually unbelievable. I recently moved my elderly mother and disabled sister 350 miles across the great state of Texas to be closer to me. As selfish as it sounds, I knew that having family closer to them was in their best interest. I am so impressed with all that Asher Point has to offer. Meals, Activities, therapy, maintenance and housekeeping just to name a few. It is as if they are in a little bubble all self contained. But in a great way! Moved canceled leave. Didn't work out. Had to move someplace else! Staff was nice though. Would recommend for someone more independent than I. Staff was nice though. Corporate management changing hands.

The staff is very caring of the residents and have numerous special events to entertain everyone. The cafeteria has had some disruption but serves wholesome and a variety of good foods. The condition of the facility is average, but they are making progress. They continue to make repairs but have limited staff for all the work that needs to be done. Overall, it is a good facility and we are happy with our decision in selecting Holiday Renaissance-Sherman.

There have been some maintenance issues; but it appears to be under control. [name removed] is nice and usually responds quickly. It’s independent but my Dad has an agency caregiver and a nurse that come to him there.

The Holiday Renaissance - Sherman community has been an answer to prayer for our family. What we like the most is that our mother is in a safe environment with all her basic expenses covered. The staff is very friendly. Food is tasty. Love that our mom has the opportunity to interact with her peers through activities provided.

[name removed] really understood our situation and was able to give us great information. They were vey patient with us because it took us a long time to come to a decision. She handled everything with so much grace and really wanted what was best for us and my mother in law. She is very happy here in her own space and it has helped her cognitively to have a routine again. Renaissance-Sherman has been the biggest blessing of our lives and we would highly recommend them.

Our family had an in person tour and the people we met with were lovely, and the meals were fantastic. However it is an old facility, the carpets are worn and torn and the cooperation just has not kept up with the interior.
