Get directionsMgmt and residents relations are average. A lot of msgs never get passed along. The food quality is poor. Other than that the overall atmosphere is above average.

Hello Stephan, thank you for taking the time to rate and review our community. We appreciate you providing us with your thoughts on our community. We will take this feedback and look for ways to improve our community for our residents and associates. Our goal is to have happy residents and family members, so your feedback is important to us. Thank you
Management is out of touch with the needs of senior citizens. Their only concern is with how they can cut corners on the services they provide to us so they can give themselves “merit raises” and show a bigger profit. Our “chef” is given a bonus, not based on customer satisfaction, but on how much he can trim his expenses and feed us on less. So we get a lot of processed food. Canned fruit, canned vegetables, processed hamburger patties, meatballs, and meatballs. Actives are poorly planned, poorly executed, and at this time,... read more

Hello Rebecca, thank you for sharing this feedback. Due to protocols to ensure the safety of our residents, our activities have had to be limited at this time, and our dining process has had to shift to have meals delivered directly to residents doors. We look forward to being able to reintroduce more activities and better accommodate our residents, as the situation improves. If you would like to discuss your concerns further, please feel free to reach out to the local team directly. Thank you
This is not an independent living community. There are a lot of residents that have dementia who are not getting any type of care and are trying to get into people's rooms. I have had things stolen from my room. The bus service only works for 2 days a week for doctors' appointments and shopping once a week but with 100 residents it is hard to get on the schedule. Communication with residents is not good. Many other residents need much more care. The food is not very good.
Business response:
Hi there, thank you for your review. Any reports of theft should be communicated to the local team immediately to ensure that the situation is handled and any additional support needed is brought in. We are an independent living community, however, our residents do have the opportunity to hire third-party caregivers should they need them. If you would like to discuss your concerns further, please contact the local team directly, they would be happy to work with you. Thank you
Moved my Mother in middle of February. I love it and she will. She is 97 and is fighting change but she is coming around. Her most stressful time is meal time. She doesn't feel comfortable to sit with anyone and is having trouble making friends. But as I said she will come around. I have been driving 3 hours each month to assist my Mother, so its wonderful to have her here in Tulsa.
Business response:
Hi Rita, thank you for taking the time to rate and review our community! We are so happy to hear that your mother is now a resident! I see that you left all 5-star reviews of our categories, but a 1 star for our overall rating. Do you have any suggestions for things we can improveupon? Thank you!
The building and amenities seem nice but the sales person was pushy and used scare tactics to try to get us to choose this place.
Business response:
Hello, we are disappointed you did not enjoy your initial interaction with us at Prairie Rose. One of our top priorities is helping seniors and our residents. Everything we do and say is with the interest of our seniors in mind. We hope you are willing to give us another chance. Please reach out to us at [removed].
My grandparents just moved into this place about three months ago. The free WiFi they have advertised never works because it is not owned by the center. Its owned by a nursing company which moved out. So now there is no free Wifi which is false advertising. If you don't get to the dinning room in time there are limited places to sit. My grandfather complains about the meals and that it is mostly rice. Probably to cut costs. For $3,000.00 a month they should at least have the WiFi working.
Not at all friendly or welcoming. Big No!! on my list.
When I toured Prairie Rose, I was under the impression that it was assisted living, but when I got there, I noticed that it was more independent living. They hire an outside company to provide care for the residents in need of assisted living. It was not what I was looking for.
They give you false information when they are trying to sell you the community. They tell you everything they offer and what they provide but then there is no follow through and none of those things happen. The meals have been cut in half and there have been times when the residents have waited at least an hour just to get food. When you need maintenance done it is impossible to get it done, you fill our work order but no one comes and fixes the issues. It really seems like a nightmare as the days go on it seems to be gettin... read more
