We chose Prairie Rose at The time because they had a more open visitation policy. She picked it too because they had biggest apartments from the ones we saw. It was a great facility it was just not the right fit for us. If you are higher functioning and don't need a lot of assistance I would recommend them.

I would certainly recommend Prairie Rose. I've been in to visit at least a dozen times. They have a very friendly, supportive staff. And they've gone the extra mile with my loved one to help her and accommodate her. The staff have always been very friendly and helpful. My loved one thinks the food is fine sometimes, and other days she doesn't like what they serve. But I imagine trying to serve 120 people of any age and please them all is impossible. The staff is personable and they get to know the family also. I would recommend this community to others. The community is open to feedback.

For the first four to six months the meals and dining services were good. Once COVID came they closed down the dining room and you had to stay in your rooms. They had one hot meal and one cold meal item to choose from that was delivered to your room. They had to shut down the activities due to COVID, but beforehand we had about six months of good activities. The room sizes are not designed to live in them 24/7.

I know that this has been especially difficult on your staff is they sometimes have to deal with residents that are more like children than they are adults. I appreciate the gentleness and compassion that you have for them. I pray for you and your family during this time of uncertainty. Please stay safe and well because I couldn't do it without you.

My loved one has been at Prairie Rose for over 7 years. There have been several management changes, but the staff that is there today has improved the facility 100 times over. Keep up the great work.

I have lived at Prairie Rose for 2 years and 8 months. I love my apartment and the people who live here. This year has been difficult, but we have muddled through with our combined strength. I would certainly recommend Prairie Rose Independent Living to anyone.

This is not a good fit for a person with higher end care needs. The staff was really good. The food was just okay. The room size and layout of the community was nice. They did not have much outdoor space.
