I am a RN for 46 years and the last 17 years has been in Tyler TX . I work at an agency that has to interact with facilities all over the East Texas area. When it came time for my 86 year old mother to stay in a place that would meet her needs and be best suitable for her fixed income, it was quick response for me: Rosewood Estates. Mom has been at Rosewood Estates in Tyler for two months now and loves it. It was the perfect fit, the residents and staff have made her feel so welcome and it is very encouraging when everyone is happy with a smile on their face every time we are there. Mom is very independent and shy, after her stroke she withdrew as she could not speak very well, when I visit her now she is happy, has made new friends and is talking so much better. My mother is doing great since her move to this community. However there is room for improvement in areas around this community. One of our issues has been the cleanliness, they do not do a good job with the cleaning. The room cleaning is not very good and you must constantly complain. Also they need better quality in the meals they provide, and more of a variety to choose from. They are charging us for these services, so they do need to correct and improve. This is a nice community for someone who needs more care. We like the staff who answered the questions we had. My mom did not need the care that they offer and wanted something different. The menu is good and they do offer activities. We would recommend this community for the care of a loved one.

We have had our mom at Rosewood Estates for about a month. She had a stoke two years ago that left her unable to talk. Mom has always been fiercely independent her whole life and after her stoke she lived alone but was very withdrawn. We can see a big change in her she is very happy, alert and trying to communicate. This is an excellent community for a loved one. The staff is so very nice and friendly. The community is clean and they offer a good menu of meals. They offer activities and we are happy that she is now getting involved with. We would recommend this community for good care and value for other families.

I have really enjoyed my stay so far at this community, the staff have all done an excellent job at making sure I am comfortable and that my needs are being met. The meals are very tasty with healthy options and perfect sized proportions. I have really enjoyed the activities they offer throughout the day including the exercise class.

My mom is doing absolutely wonderful in her new community. She is happy with the meals that are served there. The community is clean in public areas and my mom's room is well kept. The staff are attentive and courteous. I would recommend this community to family or friends.

Rosewood Estates has been a great transition for dad. He has been doing very well. My dad has been very happy since moving to Rosewood Estates. We are pleased with community and the care that they are providing for dad.
