It was more what we were looking for, it needs to be updating. I still have questions to ask {name removed]. She was very helpful.
The staff at Rosewood Estates is friendly, very helpful and are quick at responding to needs and concerns. It is clean and well maintained. You can be as active in this community as you want to be as there are many options available. The staff schedules outside entertainment to come in for the residents and their guests and it has been very good. One Sunday afternoon, a 40 plus member community band came in and performed a concert!- It was Wonderful! When moving my mother into her apartment and getting her settled in, they g... read more
Mom is eating better and getting stronger since moving into Rosewood Estates. She is going to exercise almost everyday, so she no longer needs her walking cane to walk. She has made many new friends and has fun cutting up with them and picking at each other! She dressed up for Halloween for probably the first time since she was a kid and she's 86! She had so much fun, she couldn't quit talking about it. It is not like a nursing home. This is independent living, but with others around to talk to and interact with. Personally,... read more
Business response:
Hi there! Thank you for sharing your mom's experience! It's great to hear she is thriving at Rosewood Estates. How she is living now, is how we want all older people to live. Have a great day!
We went on a tour here and my mom loved it. We were impressed with the place and the layout. There's lots of trees and a walking path for the residents. They have a lot of daily activities. The staff was nice and they answered all of our questions. They were good at following up with us. We had a deposit made but unfortunately mom changed her mind about moving just yet.
I looked at Rosewood Estates while looking for a place for my husband and I, and I thought the apartments were just too small here for us. I was really looking for something more spacious, so we continued our search elsewhere.
I am a RN for 46 years and the last 17 years has been in Tyler TX . I work at an agency that has to interact with facilities all over the East Texas area. When it came time for my 86 year old mother to stay in a place that would meet her needs and be best suitable for her fixed income, it was quick response for me: Rosewood Estates. The facility is well groomed and landscaped beautifully. GREAT food. Mother was 78 pounds when we transferred her to my care, from Dallas area, and the other day she weighed in at 105 pounds. We ... read more
Mom has been at Rosewood Estates in Tyler for two months now and loves it. It was the perfect fit, the residents and staff have made her feel so welcome and it is very encouraging when everyone is happy with a smile on their face every time we are there. Mom is very independent and shy, after her stroke she withdrew as she could not speak very well, when I visit her now she is happy, has made new friends and is talking so much better. Our mom had to be taken to the hospital, while we were out of town. [Removed] took care of ... read more
My mother is doing great since her move to this community. However there is room for improvement in areas around this community. One of our issues has been the cleanliness, they do not do a good job with the cleaning. The room cleaning is not very good and you must constantly complain. Also they need better quality in the meals they provide, and more of a variety to choose from. They are charging us for these services, so they do need to correct and improve. The staff is very friendly and helpful "most" of them. They have gr... read more
