The location was amazing!!! We wanted a great location for family and friends to embody the ambiance of a perfect wedding. This was the perfect place. We spent a little more than we wanted to but it was worth it. The staff was accommodating and Laura Weigner did a great job of keeping us on schedule without being overbearing. Ashton Gardens looked picture perfect from the get-go. Photos truly do not do the place justice, because it is much more beautiful in real life. The staff were delightful and helpful. The food was absolutely delicious and the venue looked absolutely at its best. The biggest downside was the strict schedule, which left us very little time to prepare beforehand, and felt a little like it was a rushed process to get from one thing to the next. We only used the chapel at Ashton Gardens, because most of the packages with a reception were pretty pricey. The chapel alone cost $1000. I will say, however, that the chapel is AMAZING. We could not have picked a more perfect place!!! I would recommend booking a wedding during the daytime. With all of the floor-to-ceiling windows in the chapel, and the greenery outside, it would really be a shame to have your ceremony at night. All of Asthton Gardens staff were exceptional. They were all so easy to work with and very flexible to my needs. At first I thought it was going to be a pain to have to make sure all my venders that I used had liability insurance but it really wasn't. I found that a lot of my vendors that I wanted had already worked with Asthon Gardens and knew there policy. I absolutely loved my wedding and wish that the day wouldn't have gone by so fast!
Beautiful establishment! I wouldn't have changed it for anything. However, we did have a "candlelight" wedding which was late at night, and the service was not nearly up to par. I, of course, was wrapped up in the night and being catered to, so I didn't notice it myself, but my parents/family members/ friends all had something to say about it. Their staff was tremendous. They helped make my day incredibly special and exactly like I wanted it. It is a beautiful venue, you get all of the beauty of outdoors without the bugs or rain. The ballrooms are gorgeous and everyone thought my wedding was much more expensive than it actually was! Highly reccommend.
As the mother of the bride during a hectic holiday season the the professional staff at Aston Gardens made planning our daughter's wedding absolutely stress free. The wedding coordinater kept everything on track from the planning stage to the actual event. There were no surprises and everything went according to plan.
