This venue is beautiful. But the staff is TERRIBLE. They lie and are beyond insincere. It's like working with a used car salesman. They tell you everything is perfect at first. Then they get your last installment with no refunds. Everything changes. Everything goes their way unless your ready to fork out several more thousands of dollars. Not very flexible at all. We could not do partial orders on any of their food items. Although they do not have a variety of desert option, ithey made it very difficult for us to use an outside vendor. to cater our desert. They required additional insurance from the vendor with Ashton Garden's name listed on the insurance. Ashton Gardens West more concerned about protecting their establishment than satisfying their guest.

Our coordinator quit about a month before our wedding. The new coordinator left our envelope box in an unattended room despite me requesting it to be with family members. I didn't know I needed to micromanage the staff especially considering their specialty & line of business is wedding venue & all it entails (their one stop shop selling point). Ashton Gardens was a beaurtiful venue to get married at. However, the quality of the staff and the flow of the events were so rushed and lots of small important things were overlooked. My day went well only due to lots of help from friends and family doing a lot of the work that Ashton Gardens was supposed to have been doing. They are also WAY over priced. Enter a contract with them at your own risk! Good luck!

I started to run into difficulties with A.G. when our wedding coordinator had suddenly quit without notice. The company did not notify me or my husband of the changes, until we contacted them in regards to other matters. Once they assigned us a new coordinator it appeared she was probably left to fend for herself. Clearly, A.G.'s should have spent more time training this individual. I would first like to say that this is a beautiful venue and reception area. It has the ability to be a great place. 1) When you are planning, they jump to your every need and communicate quickly. 2) After the contract has been signed, the excellent service shifts from the sales to the "event coordinator" (by the way you PAY around $375 for this service that they are so kind to oblige) They never have a backup for vacation to respond 3) Granted the wedding was slightly rushed due to military being stationed overseas, they ha... read more

My family and I were very disappointed in the way my wedding day was handled. Our coordinator was nowhere to be found when we needed her. There was no AC in the bridal dressing room, and no drinks or snacks that they had promised. The coordinator rushed us through our pictures, therefore I was not able to get all the pictures that I would have liked. My wedding at this facility was beautiful, however, the company was completely unprofessional. I do not recommend them because their staff was extremely rude to us after we had paid them a large amount of money to have our wedding there. Basically, at our reception, many of our guests complained that the bridal cake was taken away before they could get a piece, and we were never given our leftover cake. Where did our cake go?
