I absolutely loved my wedding and wish that the day wouldn't have gone by so fast!
Beautiful establishment! I wouldn't have changed it for anything. However, we did have a "candlelight" wedding which was late at night, and the service was not nearly up to par. I, of course, was wrapped up in the night and being catered to, so I didn't notice it myself, but my parents/family members/ friends all had something to say about it. Their staff was tremendous. They helped make my day incredibly special and exactly like I wanted it. It is a beautiful venue, you get all of the beauty of outdoors without the bugs or rain. The ballrooms are gorgeous and everyone thought my wedding was much more expensive than it actually was! Highly reccommend.
As the mother of the bride during a hectic holiday season the the professional staff at Aston Gardens made planning our daughter's wedding absolutely stress free. The wedding coordinater kept everything on track from the planning stage to the actual event. There were no surprises and everything went according to plan. It has been well over a year since my wedding and looking back I would not have changed a thing. The moment that I stepped into the chapel I knew that Ashton Gardens was the place! Everyone was very professional and helpful from the beginning. Our wedding planner was great and she handled every last detail. I absoultely loved working with the people at Ashton Garden's from the day I walked onto the site it was perfect services by the staff. Lindsey the lady that showed me around was very professional and went over what everything would cost for the date that my husband and I had picked. The wedding corrdinator set everything up for us on the day of the wedding (for the reception as that was all I had at this location, although the chapel is beautiful). I couldn't have imagined a more beautiful place to have a wedding. You definitely get the outdoor wedding feel inside. The numerous amounts of windows overlooking nature was wonderful. All of the staff was wonderful. Our wedding planner Shara was great, never did i have a doubt in my mind about anything to do with the wedding. The food is absolutely wonderful, I'm still getting comments 3 months later about how great the food was. I would definitely recommend this venue to anyone in the Houston area.
I loved Ashton Gardens and was very glad I got married there. But looking back on it today, I feel the strict timeline made my wedding more stressful. Considering I could not get to the facility until my access time, I was incredibly rushed. They take care of everything for you, but it is very expensive and difficult to afford. They are very structured & scheduled (you choose from a number of options that they provide) which in my case was very helpful because it made it easier to tell our families "no" to stupid demands and I could say, "the place doesn't allow it," and let that be the end of it.
