this is a piece of my wisdom tooth that was taken out 3 years ago. my jaw started to hurt a week ago and then I developed a bump by my jaw where the tooth was taken. I picked at it with my nail and bam more tooth pieces. and I can feel more in there with my nail. I had called previously about a month after I had them pulled and they said it was common. well her we are 3 years later. how common is that?
Dr. Popa was quick efficient and I am very happy with his approach. We love the Hygienist too. HOWEVER the billing team is not helpful. I have been over charged and since February and I still have no resolve and the team will not help. I tried calling the district manager and the number hangs up after a message that the location can help. Which they can not.
The worst treatment. I got my services done on may 19th. I was told what my portion of the bill is and what my insurance was going to cover. I payed my full portion prior to any treatment. 5months later I get a collection notice for a $521 I payed balance. Right!!! like you would have treated me prior to me settling my bill. Who are you kidding??? My insurance on the other hand says all claims were paid. Everyone be careful this place does not seem to know what they are doing.
Needed my one of top left molars removed (they wanted to do a root canal and my insurance sucks coverage wise) I scheduled my appointment for 1pm. I did not get to see the actual dentist!? My time was scheduled with Dr. Poppa and I got some chick who took 2 and a half hours to not even remove my entire tooth. Top molars has 3 roots normally, she got 2 and there is still 1 in my jaw. what they said as far as price was different and what they said was included did not happen. I'm not impressed at all
After getting my first exam and x ray, which was ok, then a Dr came and checked out my teeth, I was sent to the financial office, mind you, no insurance and was paying cash, (hole in tooth) root canal, filling and cleaning, $4,100. When I asked for nitrous oxide, that added $700. Bullshit. Everyone said it was $150 avg. I felt like I was in a car salesman's office. Going somewhere else.
$256 to pull a tooth! The estimate they gave me for needed work is over $6K. Definitely getting a 2nd opinion.
Haven't had dental insurance for a while so schedule for the free exam and X-rays since I was experiencing pretty significant tooth pain. X-rays and exam went fine, everyone was nice enough. Diagnosed with tooth root abscess and possible broken root on a tooth I had a root canal on. Dr explained I needed a crown and everything, which I knew. Just haven't had the money for.
