I went in today for extractions and implants. It was a long procedure but well worth it. It's a very busy place. Dr Salem is awesome and so was his assistant. Very kind and understanding and patient. I appreciate them both. I have no complaints. I went in nervous and scared and they helped through everything and to come out with a whole new smile, the pain (minimalistic) was well worth it.

3 days after extractions and immediate dentures. Minimal discomfort, bottom denture feels "real" in my mouth. Fit is so good that I canceled the one week post-op reline...I don't need it. Instead of fear I am now looking forward to getting my top extractions and dentures.​ Update: day 4 post extraction picture. Healing very well even though I could not have sutures due to Alpha-gal Syndrome. So far very happy with the whole experience and kicking myself for not having it done sooner. I got my dentures 2 weeks ago and I can't stress how happy I am with my new dentures and feel they really went the extra mile. My situation isn't easy to work with due to extensive trauma to my jaw and the tech did everything she could to be sure my dentures would function properly while giving me my smile back. THANK YOU!!!

My daughter goes to college local to Christiansburg, VA. She made her dental appointment weeks ago. The day prior to her appointment, Aspen called her to tell her she would need to pay an additional $350 copay for services not provided by our insurance. Everything should have been covered, since she was going in for a routine cleaning, check up and x-rays. I informed Cigna, and they called the office to confirm no extra charges. NOT ACCOMMODATING. As per person who finally answered the phone, I cannot make an appointment to have my teeth cleaned. My first appointment must be for evaluation. Then I can make an appt to come back to have a cleaning done at my second appt. As I am older and rely on public transportation, that adds difficulty to my life. There are no exceptions because the staff there merely carry out the instructions of the corporate office. What a waste of time. Scheduled me for a 7:30am appointment drove over an hour to get there to be told sorry we are too busy. The corp system does scheduling we don't control that. Should have trusted that 1.5 star review this company is the worst.

Read the reviews on this location. There are many more dentists in the area. I was lied to my insurance was charged for very expensive dental work, only to be told after a $2,000 cleaning, expensive crown work, X-rays, and molds. And several visits, and a dental plan of how my teeth could be fixed. My last visit I left crying, was told oh no we can't fix them you will need new x rays, molds, and finally you need dentures. They cost around 10,000 at this place, I checked. No sympathy, no care is what I got

Stay away! This office is completely misleading. They claim to take all insurances, but that's a lie. They refused to bill our medical insurance that covers cleanings and evaluations, and left us with the bill. Go elsewhere!

Beware of Aspen Dental in Christiansburg unless you want to fork over an arm and a leg for routine dental care. They don't accept most dental insurance including local companies and charge way more than dental insurance covers padding their pockets. For example, do you need a routine cleaning? Expect to pay nearly $200 out of pocket UP FRONT and AFTER insurance. How about a tooth extraction - nearly $400 out of pocket AFTER insurance. Trying to change a dental plan or routine.
