Would not recommend this place. You'll schedule an appointment way in advance and they will call you last minute to say they can't do that time anymore. I can understand if it's an emergency but I had this happen 3x. One time they completely reschedule my time without calling to ask me first. Also think they are just a money pit. My husband received a bill today dated April 23rd, 2025 for a cleaning that was done in July 2024. As someone who works with medical billing, this tells me that they waited way too long to bill insurance. He has a completely different policy with another company as of March 2025. We went today around 11:45am to the Christiansburg location to speak with someone in the billing department and waited about 12 minutes before the woman at the front desk said that the billing department would call him today (05/15/2025). STAY AWAY. Scam artists. Forced me to redo complete set of X-rays I just got done elsewhere by 18 year old kids who don't know what they are doing. The lead dentist told me he doesn't believe in treating cavities. I had 3 diagnosed by another dentist. He told me I had none and don't worry about it! Scheduled a first time patient appointment today. 15 minutes later I received an automated text saying they needed to reschedule my appointment. Tried calling back throughout the day and left several messages but never heard anything back. When someone eventually did call back, they were unapologetic. Can't speak to their dental services but their customer service does not inspire much confidence....

Stay away from this man he pulled out one of my implants for no reason and broke a bone in my mouth I could not eat solid food foods for 6 month. I found Dr Munz he is the best he fixed everything for a very fair price. i am still getting a bill from dr Salem but I really think he owes me 5000.00 for what he did to me I left his office with blood pouring out of my mouth end up in the ER and was on antibiotics for two months. I'm not one to write reviews, but believe me when I say, steer so clear of Aspen Dental. They are total crooks. I only ever went there excuse they take Delta Dental and did not have an issue with my coverage after my first visit. Come to find, without asking or notifying me, they had an out of network doctor do my cleaning and I don't find this out until now that they have the bill settled with my insurance company. my boyfriend has been having pain from his wisdom teeth so we made an appointment over the phone and a confirmation email was sent. we took off work and drove over 50 minutes just for them to tell us the appointment was canceled. no call or email in advance. the receptionist said "i honestly don't know why it says your appointment was canceled." she didn't try to resolve the issue and when we tried to reschedule she said they don't have anything available until august, 2 months from now. unprofessional and inconsiderate of p... read more

I went for a cleaning - having never had a cavity in my life - and in a nearly two hour visit they x-rayed my teeth and suggested a follow up visit for a cleaning. The cleaning was the ONLY reason I was there. Basic check up at a dentist should include a cleaning as well as X-rays. In addition, they cut into my gums/roof of mouth with the x-ray brackets. I wish there was a no-star option because I received absolute nothing for my visit. It makes me wonder what billing scam this is.

My experience with aspen dental as a young adult was genuinely a terrible experience. They lied to me about costs, they left out details in contracts, they gave me things and didn't tell me they cost money. I got lied to about a loan and was paying back 2.8k for a 571 dollar treatment. Not only was the dentist who spoke to me rude to his female staff, he was very cold to me as well.
